About the 2010 Workshop
Aver School is an organization founded to teach digital photo, video and audio skills to children and youth living in orphanages and homeless shelters around the world who would otherwise not have access to such an education.
The next workshop at Esperanza Viva in Puebla, Mexico will be taking place the first week of March, and we still need additional equipment.
We just received the final count and 49 kids will be taking the classes. This will be the biggest group yet!
Your contribution will help purchase:
2 - Video Cameras (Flip or MiniDV)
30 - SD cards (for use with Nikon point-n-shoot cameras)
1 - digital SLR camera (Nikon or Canon)
If you have a digital camera or video camera that you would like to send on an adventure to Mexico, please call me at 206-438-4098 or send email to averschool[at]mac.com.
With thanks,
Ruth Hartmann
Aver School Founder
PS - Has photography made a difference in your life? It sure has for me! You can give kids in orphanages a chance to learn digital photo, video and audio skills, please consider posting this widget on your website and blog. Many, many thanks in advance!
